Water views

We recently took a drive to the West Coast with Seattle as the final destination. The trip turned into a food adventure and it didn’t disappoint. It was a fly by the seat of your pants kind of adventure.

I have two quick takeaways:

  1. Sunset hill is a stunning location. It’s peaceful and has beautiful views of the water and yeah, the sunset. This Community is located in Ballard (which I think is like a suburb of Seattle?) and is full of character and snacks. We stayed at the most adorable Airbnb and I highly recommend it.
  2. People in Seattle like to eat. If I can make a single recommendation it would Copine. It was one of the most satisfying dinners I have ever eaten. I love it. It has a minimalistic kind of menu and wine list.

It was a great visit, smooth drive, and even better company. It’s good to take a moment and pause, maybe see something new and look at the bigger picture. Life is much too short to wait around for something to happen.
